Good
Saughton Tram Stop is another stop that is mostly useful for people who live or work nearby. It is consistent with what I've come to expect from the tram network in Edinburgh with a good level of accessibility and level boarding. The paths to the stop are mostly tarmac, though there are some short inclines.
Disabled Access In and Around
This tram stop has two platforms, one on either side of the track. It's worth noting that crossing here isn’t controlled like it is at some of the other stops. There’s a ramp leading up to each platform, and ther is level boarding onto the tram. The accessible boarding area is marked with a wheelchair symbol on the platform. The three main routes to the platforms are all tarmacked, which makes traversing the route with mobility aid a bit easier. Like many other stops around the city, there are seats both under cover and out in the open, so you’ve got options if you want to sit while you wait. You can buy tickets at the machines, tap in with a smart card, or use the ET app if that’s more convenient for you. The platform edges have tactile markings, and there are help points with braille if you need information or have to call for assistance in an emergency. Each unit displays a hearing loop symbol.

Saughton Tram Stop isn't the best if you're looking to park nearby but there are local bus routes on Saughton Road and Broomhouse Drive with services provided by Lothian Buses which are wheelchair accessible. There is space for a quick drop-off near Saughton Road but there are no designated drop-off points.
