Overview

One step up to access the ticket office and shop, otherwise the entire tour is on the ground floor and level. We were admitted free because one of us is a wheelchair user - this doesn't always happen in Germany, sometimes they will only admit for free holders of a German social security card. A helpful attendant opened the main entrance of the Schloss so that we could leave the building without retracing our route - again one step to be negotiated.

Transport & Parking

Can't comment on the parking. Trams and buses in Potsdam are mostly wheelchair accessible, though not all stops are. The bus stop closest to the Schloss isn't wheelchair friendly, but the walk through the Neuergarten to the Schloss is lovely. See above. We didn't see a disabled toilet on the premises.

There is an accessible toilet in the grounds, about five minutes walk/wheel from the Schloss.

A building dating from just before and during World War One, and English Tudor in architectural style. It was the home of Crown Prince Wilhelm and his wife Cecilie. The tour of the ground floor, including the offices used by Churchill, Attlee, Truman and Stalin and the main conference room where the future of Europe was decided in 1945 is very interesting.
