Overview

Such a great gallery! Very spacious, good exhibitions. Sometimes a little tricky to find your way around, but Gallery attendants are always very helpful.

Transport & Parking

In a very central part of the city, lots of bus links on the roads surrounding. Taxi ranks nearby too. Close to Edinburgh Waverley Station.

Access

Thought access was excellent. Well lit gallery, lots of space, great staff. Some interpretation panels could have been at a better height than they were, and the text was quite small.

Toilets

Didn't use these so can't comment.

Staff

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Normally you can just walk right in and there are no queues, but with heightened security the entrances and exits were a bit crushed when I visited as everyone was getting their bags checked. Again staff were amazingly helpful with this though.
