Good
As we were visiting family and friends in the West of Scotland, we decided to stay for two nights at Seamill Hydro Hotel before returning home to the East of Scotland.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
When booking we were told there were two "accessible" rooms in the Courtyard Section. The resort has 65 guest rooms and 18 apartments in total, so only two seems a little on the low side as a proportion. The accessible rooms were quite close to the car park, but walking distances to the restaurants or the best sea views were quite long, and some may struggle. I used a walking frame/rollator rather than my usual two walking sticks. Other guests uses rollators or mobility scooters. I'd left my mobility scooter at home on this visit.
Parking & Transport
Good
We drove to and from the hotel. Six blue badge parking spaces in front of the main building were generally sufficient, but on one occasion we returned late afternoon to find all in use. We parked in an ordinary bay, a slightly longer walk, but not too bad.

Staff
Excellent
Restaurant staff were welcoming and suggested tables with easier access for walking frames. These were good tables all the same. Excellent views of the Firth of Clyde, from Ailsa Craig to Arran.
