Shildon Railway Station

Shildon Railway Station is a small station on the Tees Valley Line, serving the town of Shildon and the surrounding areas. The station has two platforms and is unstaffed, with trains mainly running between Bishop Auckland, Darlington and Saltburn. I visited this location specifically to review the station and found it to be a bit of a mixed bag. It is wheelchair accessible, provided you are able to propel yourself up a hill or down a ramp.
