Tower Gardens Pavilion is made up of Cafe Dansant (front of building) and Skegness Town Council (rear of building) it is situated in Tower Gardens near the bandstand. Cafe Dansant offers a wide range of tea/coffees and cake along with community groups and hall hire. Skegness Town Council is a parish council that can help with sign posting to different organisation and wide range of other smaller roles.

Disabled Access at Skegness Town Council Tower Gardens Pavilion

The Entrance to the pavilion has steps and a ramp to make us accessible to all. The front door is operated by a push button which will open both sides of the door which is wide enough for wheelchairs. The Pavilion is flat throughout and there is no lift or ramps. There is a backdoor however we suggest wheelchair users use the front door as the backdoor is not automatic and smaller.

We have 2 Disabled parking spaces at the rear of venue. We have a car park on Scarborough avenue which has 5 Disable parking spaces that backs on to Tower Gardens. The car park is free for Disable users as long as their disable badge is displayed correctly on the dash of the vehicle.

Toilets features at Skegness Town Council Tower Gardens Pavilion

We have 2 disabled toilets in the venue. 1st is a standard disabled toilet with rails, red emergency pull cord, leaver turn taps and easy to lock doors. 2nd is our changing places facility which has a fully accessible toilet, hoist, changing bed (that can be moved to the correct height) and adjustable sink. Red emergency pull cord along with easy to lock doors and lever taps. Our changing places is locked and a key that can be collected from either the cafe or the council offices when a user requires access. A person or people will not be refused access to the toilet and the key will always be given if asked. The toilets are accessible Monday to Friday 9am till 4:00pm and Saturdays during cafe opening times. On weekend it may be worth while calling the cafe ahead of time to check they are open as they may close is slower periods. You can do this by calling 01754 840030 We are closed over the Christmas period and New years.

Changing Places toilet

There is a Changing Places toilet, which includes an adult-size changing bench, toilet, sink and hoist.

Accessible toilet

A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements is available within the main public areas.
