Overall Rating

Being part of a large chain, Sofitels I imagine are much the same - although this was the first time I had stayed there. I gave it a 4 because its one drawback is its sheer size. Otherwise a perfect venue for a stay before catching a flight.

Disabled Access In and Around

There were slopes on the walkway to the Hotel but signage was good - and once in the Hotel, the main obstacle were the thick carpets. The lifts were a good size too and the interior well signposted.

Parking & Transport

I arrived by plane and there is a bit of a walk from Domestic Arrivals and the Hotel. There is also a small car park and regular Hopperbuses (with disabled spaces).

Accessible Toilets

Also good - both in the Hotel and the ensuite facilities in the rooms.

Staff

The majority of the staff were not natural English speakers but had excellent command of the language. Impressive co-ordination and organisational skills from the reception staff to the restaurant staff.

Additional Information

I flew down from Edinburgh, my PA drove down from Derby - prior to flying out to Italy the next day, so this made the perfect stop-off. I would recommend this franchise.
