The south lake safari zoo is personally the best zoo that i have visited. It was an amazing experience to be able to have hands on experience with animals such as lemurs and giraffes, being able to get close with these animals and feed them was an fantastic and i would love to do it again. The safari zoo is accessible for wheelchair users allowing interaction with the animals as the walkways had been designed to make everything accessible for everyone. Accessible toilet facilities were situated at the main entrance and clearly sign posted. The zoo does have natural inclines therefore a wheelchair user may need additional support in these areas, especially near the snow leopards area and when leaving the zoo to head towards the car park, the staff of the zoo were very helpful therefore the staff would be more then happy to provide assistance. Disabled parking bays are available near the entrance of the zoo.
