Disabled Access at Spixworth Hall Cottages

Stables cottage: M1: Older & Less Agile Guests, M2: Part Time Wheelchair User, M3A: Assisted Suitable for all wheelchair users and great attention has been paid to accessibility. There is a wide entrance and hallway, two bedrooms and a bathroom with both a bath and a walk-in shower and a further bathroom with vanity unit and WC. It has a spacious, fitted kitchen and the open plan living, dining area that opens out onto a paved south facing patio in a walled courtyard planted with old fashioned roses and shrubs. There is an electric single bed in the the twin bedroom and the use of Shower chairs, toilet seats and bed blocks can be provided. Lodge Cottage: M1: Older & Less Agile Guests The cottage is all on one level with two bedrooms, a bathroom (with a step in shower), a living room with wood burner and a well-equipped kitchen with a conservatory dining area. It has a single step into the cottage then it is level throughout. Gaffers Cottage: M1: Older & Less Agile Guests The cottage has 5 bedrooms & 4 bathrooms. one of the bedrooms is located on the groundfloor and its bedroom doors open on the garden patio. There is a groundfloor wetroom style bathroom which is ideal for those with reduced mobility. Access to the games barn is also level access.

Accessible parking at Spixworth Hall Cottages

There is plenty of free onsite parking. Stables cottage has its own parking space at the back of the games barn directly adjacent to the the cottage. Gaffers cottage also has a parking space located next to the back door of the cottage and the Lodge has its own private parking space.
