This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Walking Aid, Mobility Scooter
Overview
We had special permission from Bute and Argyll Council to take our van over to the island. It was left on the quay with our permit prominently displayed. The managers of the hotel were very helpful, transferring all our luggage, while we made our way there, with the dog and mobility scooter. The newly created ensiuite wet room was greatly appreciated. The weather was mixed but we could enjoy the changing views across the Sound to Mull from the spacious lounge The roads round the island were a pleasure to scoot along due to the absence of cars apart from those of island residents
Transport & Parking
The only level access was across the hotel lawn, but once inside the hotel everywhere had level access
Access
Toilets
There was an excellent disabled access toilet immediately across the corridor from our dining room. There was plenty of room inside for my mobility scooter and carer
Staff
All the staff were courteous and friendly. Karen , and her husband , the managers, could not have been more helpful.
