Located in the heart of Glasgow, within the city's main shopping district of Argyle Street and Buchanan Street, St. Enoch is a Glasgow shopping institution. Home to many big brands including TJ Hughes, H&M & Sostrene Grene. Hospitality venues include a Vue Cinema, Boom Battle Bar, Level X & Restaurants Nandos, Cosmo & Namaste by Delhi Darbar. We are fully accessible for wheelchair users and can cater for anyone with other specific access requirements. Our staff genuinely care about providing a helpful, efficient and caring service to ensure our shoppers have an enjoyable visit. Prioritise accessibility improvements

The St. Enoch Centre is a shopping centre in the heart of Glasgow. It is very accessible for disabled people because it has many lifts and changing rooms accessible to them. Additionally, it has information-centred maps on every floor to help visitors navigate their way around the various shops and facilities. However, the inclusion of sign language in this shopping centre would have significantly improved the experience and acceptance of hearing-impaired individuals and staff members, making the environment more accessible and welcoming, which promotes community respect and acceptance. In addition, the use of Braille can assist people with vision impairments in identifying their location and ensuring safe navigation in the environment.

Disabled Access at St. Enoch Shopping Centre

The centre has 4 access points for the public to enter. The centre can also be accessed from Tesco, H&M and Costa coffee. • Argyle street entrance is accessed from street level with a small gradual incline up the mall. • St Enoch Square entrance is accessed from street level with a lift bypassing stairs and an escalator. • Howard street entrance is accessed by 2 ramps from either side which bypass stairs. • Dunlop Street entrance is accessed by a small ramp which bypasses stairs.

Accessible parking at St. Enoch Shopping Centre

• Car parking in on site and is accessed from the slip road on Clyde street. • The centre has 718 spaces in total with 18 spaces available for customers with access needs and 4 electro bays for electric motors. • There are 6 pay on foot machines which are accessed before returning to the vehicle. • The car park consists of a well maintained tarmac finish which is level. • All the car park spaces are close to the customer lifts which give access to the toilets, food court and shopping. • The car park lighting is very adequate and consists of fluorescent light fixtures which are regularly maintained.

Toilets features at St. Enoch Shopping Centre

• The customer toilets are situated on level 2 on the food court side. Both the car park lifts and the scenic lifts lead to the toilets. There are 6 men’s cubicles and 23 female cubicles. There are also 2 accessible toilets and a baby change in the vicinity. The toilets are open during the centre opening times. The accessible toilets are accessed through a radar key. • Further accessible toilets are situated on the ground floor next to Starbucks on the east side of the centre, at the back of the food court next to McDonalds and on the first floor next to Leith Collective. All these facilities are easily accessible and well lit. • All accessible toilets are accessed through a radar key and a motion sensor is used to alert data control of a customer’s presence. • All accessible toilets have an emergency pull cord with emergency light outside. • All accessible toilets have a minimal opening of 35” / 890mm, they all have lever taps with 4 handrails in the room. The WC in each room is 18” / 460mm from the top of the pan to the floor. • All accessible toilets have fluorescent lighting which is regularly maintained.
