St Germans Priory is a historic parish church and former priory in the village of St Germans, Cornwall. It stands on the site of Cornwall’s ancient cathedral, the early medieval seat of the Bishop of Cornwall more than 1,000 years ago, and remains one of the county’s most significant historic church sites.
Today, the Priory is used for worship, community events, concerts, talks, exhibitions and theatrical performances. The building is ancient and atmospheric, with significant historic and architectural interest, including Norman features and notable stained glass.
We welcome visitors, worshippers and event audiences, and aim to provide clear, honest access information so that more people can plan a visit to this important part of Cornwall’s heritage.
