I visited the Coach Houses just a couple of weeks ago with my two young daughters, and they are already asking to go back. The accommodation is beautiful, and absolutely immaculate, inside and out. There is everything you need for a short break. The setting is idyllic, with amazing, unspoilt views and stunning sunsets. Adjacent to the coach house is the wonderful "play barn" with activities for all ages. This kept us all happy for several hours when the weather wasn't so good. "The Castle" which we stayed in is dog friendly , and it was the ideal location for lovely walks and trips to the beach (10 mins by car). All in all it was the perfect retreat for us to catch our breath.

    Disabled Access In and Around

The Coach House was accessible for us with my daughter's complex needs. The floors are smooth with no lips or steps, and the ground floor bedroom and bathroom were ideal for our needs. A safety gate was in place which was ideal to keep her safe downstairs.

    Parking & Transport

There is designated parking for each cottage, and well laid paths straight to each door. Perfect for wheelchairs, pushchairs and scooters! The area is also well lit at night.

    Accessible Toilets

The accommodation has a good size downstairs bathroom with a very large shower. This would be accessible for a wheelchair and also room for a carer.

The coach houses are on a well tended family run farm. Daughter Claire was very welcoming, providing us with a contact number and making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. She communicated with my disabled daughter beautifully. My children were delighted to be invited to feed the nearby sheep, and we enjoyed learning about them and life on the farm.
