Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre is a large, multi-purpose facility. Its explicit aim is to give those in the local area access to both top-notch sports and leisure services, as well as the arts.
On the sporting side of things, the centre features a spacious and versatile eight court sports hall, a six-rink indoor bowls facility, a wonderfully appointed 125-station gym, three group exercise studios and three squash courts. The centre also features the Healthy Hub, a one-stop-shop for providing information, advice and support for improving the health and wellbeing of the community.
Elsewhere, we also have a large cafe, conference facilities, three meeting/conference rooms and the jewel in our crown – the 501-seater Gordon Craig Theatre – which stages a variety of high-quality productions throughout the year.
