Stroud Library

This vibrant library sits within the heart of the community of Stroud. We offer a wide range of books, Audio CDs and DVDs to borrow and once you have joined the library you will be able to browse our online catalogue and order books in from any library in the county. We also have free downloadable e-books, magazines and audiobooks available to borrow for all library card holders. From our public PCs you can access 'Ancestry' and 'Find my Past' and 'Access to Research' for free. We have computer buddies available that can help you with your IT issues, and we have free Wifi throughout the building. As a member you will also be able to log in to our website from your home computer and use the Naxos Music Library - more than 600.00 tracks available for free as well as Newsbank and the Times Digital Archive. We are home to Stroud's Drop-in Centre for people with disabilities who are over the age of 18. We have a well attended Library Club, with transport available which meets every month. We also offer weekly Baby Bounce and Rhyme and Storytime sessions for our younger customers. Our friendly and helpful team are happy to assist you in accessing all of the above.
