Overview
This is a typical Edwardian theatre, with lots of stairs, and a single lift which doesn't access everywhere. One of our group has restricted mobility and uses a rollator. Staff were excellent in directing us how we should get to where our seats were booked (via the lift and stairs) and to ask colleagues upstairs for rollator storage. The upstairs staff were indeed very happy to store the rollator, and then accompanied us on a crowd-avoiding short cut to our seats. At the end of the performance, again, staff accompanied us back to collect the rollator (which was ready and waiting), and gave us a short cut back to the lift. Could not fault them at all, they were so helpful to make an old building as easy to access as possible, within the constraints imposed on them by the structure. 10/10!
