Overall Rating
Good
There are 2 branches of Szara in Krakow, my review is for the one in Kazimierz, the old Jewish Quarter. This one is on Szeroka, one of the main streets in Kazimierz, which has a number of restaurants. Like all the restaurants on this street, there is outdoor and indoor seating. The restaurant serves Polish and international cuisine. The quality of food is excellent and is very reasonably priced.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
There is outdoor seating on the pavement with free standing tables and chairs. There are 2 - 3 steps at the entrance and inside again there are free standing tables and chairs. I ate outside and didn't go inside the restaurant so I'm not sure if there is seating upstairs as well.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
The road parallel to the restaurant is a main road which has trams running along. I didn't use the tram while I was there so unable to comment, apart from I noticed that the new trams had wheelchair signs by one of the doors.
Accessible Toilets
0I didn't use the toilets so unable to comment. My apartment was in the same street as the restaurant so I used the facilities there.
Staff
Excellent
Staff were welcoming and helpful. Everyone spoke English.
Additional Information
The food here was amazing, there were lovely vegetarian options. I had three courses and everything was delicious, well presented and good quality food, with generous portions. I had a beetroot salad for starter, then Pierogi which are Polish dumplings and then cheesecake. The home made bread was fabulous. Would be very happy to visit again.
