    Tramper at Tarn Hows

The Lake District of England was one of the top three highlights of our three week trip throughout the UK! It was because of this lovely great vehicle, the scenery and the people that made it so spectacular. It’s 2 hours to slow walk or ride around the lake. The terrain was not very rocky, but a typical mobility scooter may not have been sturdy enough. (we have a small three wheel scooter) The Park had two or three of these vehicles. Just check in at the information trailer and the arrangements will be made. We did not have to wait very long to get one. I’m not sure if this can be reserved in advance.

Awesome to take a Tramper around the Tarns

Ring ahead to book one of their Trampers - heavy duty scooter. For one and a half hours you're free to explore the rough up and down paths around the the tarns. I felt like I was out there with everyone else.
