Thatch Close Cottages

Stayed in Valley View with my husband who is a wheelchair user. We both found the cottage to be user friendly with lots of attention to detail. Suitable for wheelchair users. Has wide doors, rise and fall counters, a large wet room and lots of little extras such as high and low rail in wardrobe and sensor lights. Beautiful views with nothing to hear other than the birds and occasional animal. Bonus that our dog could come with us with lots of ground for her to run around. The hosts Edward and Marion are really welcoming and helpful.

A beautiful setting for a converted barn stay. I was struggling to find accommodation for three adults, two of which had mobility issues, when I found Thatch Close Cottages. The facilities suited us perfectly and we particularly appreciated the video tour of the property to ensure that it was suitable for our requirements.

I am a fulltime wheelchair user an Valley View was perfectly adapted for us. There was a generous and tasty welcome basket. The wet room and kitchen had been well thought out and there was plenty of room for me to get around in my powerchair. Outside the views were fantastic and the grounds have been thoughtfully landscaped to allow good wheelchair access to a terraced area.
