Overview

The ball room offers a variety of entertainment options. Snooker, pool, darts, bar and large screens for watching sport etc. The problem is The ball room is only accessible if you are able to negotiate a few stairs.There is parking but no disabled loo.

Transport & Parking

We drove. There is a very small carpark just outside the venue but there is no designated disabled parking. There are several bus stops close to the venue.

Access

There is a paved ramp which leads to the entrance door to the Ball Room ( see photo). Unfortunately after entering the building you need to negotiate several steps before you reach the Ball Room (see photo). There is no portable ramp or alternative entry to the venue. It is not wheelchair accessible.

Toilets

There is not a disabled toilet There is standard toilet but is very small and to make matters worse also has several lockers. There is really no room for a wheelchair. See photo

Staff

Staff were OK There was one male member of staff who was particularly helpful but unfortunately I did not get his name.
