Overview

A good community venue which serves as a useful space for gatherings, meetings & community events. The accessible toilet isn't the best, but it's one of few publicly accessible on the island.

Transport & Parking

4

There are no accessible parking spaces directly outside the venue, however it's a very short distance from the Rothesay Ferry Terminal which has accessible parking.

Access

4

With step free access and an automatic door into the building, it's a wonderfully accessible building with lots of space once inside. The doorways are wide and some of the work spaces are lower, too.

Toilets

3

Although an 'accessible toilet' does exist, it's not the biggest and doesn't have a red cord. Nevertheless, it does have a grab rail and is one of the few 'publicly accessible' accessible toilets on the island, when the building is open.

Staff

Friendly and very attentive to needs.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

As this venue is an old bank, it's very open and airy with lots of rooms. A good community area for gatherings. The step free access and automatic door make it very accessible.
