The Barrelman

The Barrelman is positioned on Commercial Street right in the heart of Dundee’s city centre. It is a laid-back spot with charm and personality to spare, a home away from home to relax in warm and comfortable surroundings with a vast range of gins, rums and other libations. We proudly serve fresh Scottish produce, artisan coffee, hand-crafted cocktails and a delectable selection of beers, wines, spirits and bubbly. The barrelman was the person stationed up high in a barrel on the foremasts of early oceangoing vessels to help with navigation. There was a barrelman on the RRS Discovery and so we bring together Dundee’s seafaring past with the adventure of exploring new flavours.
