In real life, El Capitan in Yosemite National Park would take around four days to summit; at The Bear Grylls Adventure, you can take on this challenge in 60 minutes, with the attraction’s replica granite wall. For the truly adventurous, it is not about the destination – it’s about the journey. The Bear Grylls Adventure’s iFLY Indoor Skydiving experience offers adrenaline junkies the thrill of flight within its own custom wind tunnel. No parachute, no plane, no wings – just you, the iFLY expert and the air. With speeds of up to 162mph, participants get to experience the thrill of freefall twice; the equivalent of three 12,000 ft real life sky dives. From Europe’s tallest High Ropes to the Royal Marines-inspired Assault Course, The Bear Grylls Adventure boasts an array of activities to challenge adventurers of all ages, abilities and experience levels. Escape the ordinary and experience the awesome at The Bear Grylls Adventure, located at Birmingham’s NEC.

    Best experience EVER

I have just experienced the best customer service EVER. My 19 year old daughter & her boyfriend are both full time wheelchair users and really wanted to try indoor skydiving. Before I booked, I sent an email to the 'info' email address for Bear Grylls explaining their physical disabilities and asking if it would be at all possible for them to participate. I have written these types of emails many times before and I can honestly say that I have never had a response such as the one I received.....here is a cut and paste of the first line of that email "So they can absolutely do the indoor skydiving, In terms of moving the wheelchair our instructors can deal with this if Hannah and Laith are ok with us doing that". The email reply was signed by Hayley Baldwin, supervisor. Usually replies from companies are about why it is not possible for disabled to participate etc etc but with Bear Grylls it is all about a 'yes' attitude and 'what can we do to facilitate'. This made us all look forward to the experience so much before the day arrived. On the day, Hayley, the supervisor and her team met us, took us through the plan for the day and how everything would be done, which included a dry run of lifting Hannah & Laith from their wheelchairs. Hayley was joined by Mark, Dylan & Dom who ensured everything ran smoothly. The team were absolutely excellent with Hannah & Laith, they were completely understanding of their disabilities and treated them with a huge amount of care, respect and it was so clear that their goal was for them to have a truly fantastic experience. They 100% achieved this and I cannot thank them enough. To finish it off, Hayley convinced me to have a go at flying too, it was awesome. We can't wait to visit Bear Grylls Adventure again. Hannah is desperate to 'fly' again and next time we will bring our teenage boys too. Hayley & team, we cannot thank you enough. Very best wishes, Rebecca & family
