The Boat House

The restaurant has great access for wheelchair users via the decking ramp provided, it has big wide doors to enter and once inside is very spacious for moving around and getting to the toilet easily. The menu has a fair variety to choose from (can be found on the website) and the delicious food was served in good time by the welcoming staff. Lovely views of the swans, ducks and boats on mere throughout the whole restaurants one floor. Indoor and outdoor seating. Small gift shop. Parking available. Went for a walk around the mere in the park areas following my meal. The grounds are very level and I did not come across any steps. Plenty of seating areas and benches. Ideal to get an ice cream from the ice cream hut, along the walk, on a nice day.
