Black bun run

On a wet day a visit to the railway was ideal. In the New Year the Black Bun Run is where coffee or tea is served with black bun included in the price of your ticket from Bo’ness

A brilliant day out

The train journey was brilliant and very relaxing. The museum was a lot of fun as there was a lot of trains which you could go in.

A great interactive + informative day out

Disabled Access at The Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway

Good access for wheelchairs to Bo'ness Station, platform and facilities. Specially adapted carriage for wheelchair users. Most of the Museum is fully accessible. Detailed access arrangements to Museum, stations and facilities is on website.

There are two accessible toilets at Bo'ness Station and one in the Museum of Scottish Railways. On train toilets are not wheelchair accessible and journey times between accessible toilets is approx 70 minutes.
