Overview

Went to the Connaught hotel with my husband & had a 7 course tasting menu. Amazing hotel with exceptional food . A brilliant experience.

Transport & Parking

Went to the hotel by taxi so no issues with parking & didn’t see what provision would be for this .

Access

There are steps into the hotel however we were met by a very courteous member of staff & a portable ramp was available to get into the hotel. Once inside everything was level & easily navigated. There were carpets on a lot of the floors but still it was easy to move around.

Toilets

The accessible toilet was easy to find & you were guided there by a member of staff anyway. The toilet was well equipped with plenty of grab rails however there was no red emergency cord in the toilet I was in. There was plenty of room for a wheelchair & carer if needed. It was impeccably clean.

Staff

All the staff we met were extremely helpful, very polite & friendly. They really couldn’t do enough for you, making you feel very welcome & even important 😀.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

This was a brilliant experience in a very posh hotel with exceptional food & brilliant staff. We were seated in a quiet, secluded area which was suitable for a wheelchair.
