A beautiful, well equipped ground-floor apartment, in a quiet secure residential development, our goal is to make the apartment a home from home, so you can relax and enjoy your break in comfort. Ideal for couples, groups or families who want easy access to the city, plenty of space (100 sq meters) in a peaceful environment. 10 – 15 minutes walk from the east end of Princes Street, with private parking. A short walk to Edinburgh's many attractions, some things to mention, Holyrood Palace, The Parliament, The Castle, The Playhouse Theatre, Botanic Gardens and Princes Street. We are proud to have achieved the Scottish Tourist Board 3 Star Award as well as Category 3 access for residents with mobility issues. We have welcomed many guests with varying requirements over the years.

Disabled Access at The Hopetoun Street Apartment

The apartment is best accessed from the back of the building. Here it is at ground level. Although it is not a main door apartment it may be accessed directly through the patio doors (1530mm) straight into the living room, there is also a narrow door (580mm) directly into the kitchen, this is not suitable for wheelchairs and some larger prams. As well as the direct access into the apartment there is a further main door (770mm) into the back of the building, which in turn leads to the main door (800mm) of the apartment.

There is a parking permit in the apartment, when this is displayed on your car, you can park anywhere within the development. There is usually a parking space just outside at the back of the apartment. There is a dropped kerb. The parking area is smooth and paved, there is a smooth tarmac footpath along the building. The area is well lit at night.

The family sized bathroom has the following. Step free, level access. Door opening 840mm/33inc. Bath with angled grab rail on the back wall. There is a shower over the bath. Toilet 400mm/15.7ins high. Wash basin 800mm/31.5ins high. The floors are tiled. There is also an en suite with shower unit, step into shower 200mm, grab rail and stool available for shower. Door into en suite 730mm.

A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements is available within the main public areas.
