6 reviewsCutty Sark is the world's sole surviving tea clipper, celebrated for her record-breaking passages around the globe. You can venture aboard and beneath this world-famous ship, walk along the decks in the footsteps of the merchant seamen who sailed her over a century ago and explore the hold where precious cargo was stored on those epic voyages. The ship re-opened in 2012, fully conserved and now lifted over three metres allowing visitors to stand directly underneath this world wonder and see her elegant lines and ground-breaking design. New innovative exhibits and interactive displays bring to life the romance, danger and adventures of life under sail. As part of the 2006-2012 Conservation Project, access to Cutty Sark was improved significantly including wheelchair access to the ship, tactile models and guides and multi-sensory exhibits.
