The Lock Climbing Wall

Essex’s Premier Indoor Climbing Centre, with routes up to 14m, lead climbing, top roping, bouldering, instruction, café & shop. Whether you are a seasoned climber or a newcomer looking to try the sport, The Lock provides quality climbing experiences for all abilities, from age 8 and upwards. We are open to the general public including members and their guests throughout the year. We run a variety of climbing courses at all levels as well hosting a number of climbing clubs for both young people and adults. Following our recent renovation we offer a warm, comfortable and friendly environment in which to enjoy climbing all year-round. At only 2 minutes’ walk from Harlow Town Station and close to the A414 we’re really easy to access.
