Given a loop system and it didn't work only an electrical buzzing sound, I took this back at the interval and was given some headphones and told that I shoukd take my hearing aids out to use them, this now reduces my hearing even further. I could hear with the headphones either. At the end if the show I took the headphones back to be told by the assistant that someone in the stalls said their loop system worked very well!! I sat through the whole performance not being able to hear anything and felt totally cut off from the show. When I talked to the ticket office about this they said the hearing loop frequently didn't work where I was sitting! I have offered to help them test out where exactly in the theatre there loop system works but gave had one reply saying they will get back to me which they haven't. No refund of tickets was offered.

Additional Information
I love stage text and now know that if I wish to be fully involved in a show then I need to use this. It is too expensive not to mention disappointing when a loop system doesn't work
