Overview

This is a Sizzler Restaurant as well as being a public house. I have now visited Maxwell's on three occasions and on each occasion have found the place extremely welcoming to disabled guests with courteous staff and a pleasant atmosphere. A modern pub and one of the Mitchell & Butler chain, and as part of their brand is sizzler restaurants the food is excellent. Easily accessible through the main door and the only quibble I have is that there is only one ramp in the entire car park so it may take a little bit of hunting out. Different things happening each night from quizzing to bingo etc, and some live music at weekend. Extremely impressed by the disabled toilet which is very spacious (as you will know not always the case), clean and easily accessible. The whole pub is on one level so being quite a modern pub that means it's unlimited access. Not really a modern pub type of guy but this one is well worth a visit.
