Overview

The room is on the ground floor close to car parking space so easy to unload/pack up (I am a 'carer' for my ex-husband who cannot lift/pack etc for himself). The room & bathroom are very spacious with grab rails that can be moved closer or higher and pleanty of space to wheel a large chair around. Lovely rain shower with seat. The loo was high enough to enable getting on/off without difficulty. There is a little 'terrace' with 2 seats which looks onto a lovely vegetable garden with lots of sunflowers/courgettes, herbs, fruit bushes & trees. It is only a short walk to the dining room. Staff very quick to help with any questions/problems.

Took Car...not sure about public transport options

Access

Long ramps to and from rooms so could use walker if wanted to as well as wheel chair. Doors very heavy with no way of pinning them back, as per fire requirements I think which would be difficult if on own. Didn't notice brail
