The Old Vic is London’s independent not-for-profit theatre, a world leader in creativity and entertainment. Today, Artistic Director Matthew Warchus is building on 200 years of creative adventure, with The Old Vic recently being hailed as ‘London’s most eclectic and frequently electrifying theatre’
Accessibility
There are four steps from the street into the foyer and Box Office. Handrails are available on either side of the entrance. From the foyer there are three steps into the Stalls (without handrails). There are 29 steps to the Dress Circle and a further 20 steps to the Lilian Baylis Upper Circle. There is currently no step-free access to the foyer, Box Office or bars, but The Old Vic is currently undergoing a building project to change this by the end of 2019.
