Lovely day out
The Patch is essentially a few fields, but that doesn't make it sound as nice as it is. There's a lot to do over the vast space, aimed at children. There are quite a lot of covered places to sit down.
It's quite interactive, and most of it is included in the price. The only things there is an additional charge for is the barrel ride and the little cars. If you take children on the cars, they do require someone to walk around with them. There's mini golf, some animals, beautiful sculptures, and a pick your own flowers area. The music maze is lovely.
There are some tunnel things - an antigravity one and a vortex one. These are not accessible, and you also have to work through corn to get to them which is tricky and narrow.
As it is in fields, the ground is uneven, and if it's rained recently, I imagine it would be quite slippy and sludgy.
There is a cafe and picnic area. The cafe is in a marquee and the floor is extremely uneven in some areas though I'm not sure why!
The toilets are like permanent portaloos, not super accessible. I didnt see a disabled one but there may have been one that I missed.
Parking is just in a field, no disabled bay. There are no real bays at all. It was quite busy when we went so we couldn't park close.
Overall a lovely day, with lots of photo opportunities and a lot of interactivity.
