I am a disabled person. I have experience of challenges around: hearing, moving around and understanding.
Overall Rating
Good
Still not wheelchair accessible due to being a listed building and needing to climb a few flights of stairs. They are planning to have a proper lift built in the future but they do have a stairlift around the back of the building so if you have a walking impairment or use walking aids like crutches, then you can call them to let them know you are coming and require a stairlift and they will come and meet you and show you where to go, and how to use the stairlift. You can just turn up without phoning ahead but they prefer if you are able to phone ahead of your visit. The staff’s attitudes towards disability are great and they are so frustrated to not be wheelchair accessible.

New Stairlift, they didn’t used to have a stairlift or any other form of accessibility to get upstairs so this is a huge win for them. once upstairs there is plenty of space to move around, plenty of seating too.
Parking & Transport
Good
Near lots of public transport including a tram which in my opinion is the most accessible mode of transport. There is not much parking nearby but I got a taxi so could be dropped off outside but there wasn’t anywhere to park a car nearby.
Staff
Excellent
The staff are brilliant and were very helpful. They are also open to any feedback or suggestions for improving their accessibility.
