The Pyramid at Anderston Trust formed in 2018 as a membership organisation serving the local community (G3 7 and G3 8 postcode areas) in response to the Church of Scotland’s intention to sell the then Anderston Kelvingrove Parish Church, established in 1967. The Trust’s aim was to ensure that the iconic B-listed Pyramid building was maintained as a community hub and asset and to build upon the connections which had been developed over so many years. In 2019 the Trust purchased the building fwith a grant award from the Scottish Land Fund. The Pyramid has always been well used and loved by the people of Anderston and Glasgow, particularly for and by people in need. It now belongs to our community and is a place to connect, create and celebrate. Our vision is for The Pyramid is to play a key role in a thriving, well-connected neighbourhood, where everyone feels able to contribute. Our aim is to be a home to a vibrant and diverse range of opportunities and activities that improve wellbeing; and to provide an inclusive and inspiring community-led space that people can count on.
