Overview

The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom is in the former Middlesex Guildhall, a building constructed over one hundred years ago. It has been superbly adapted to its modern function, and has full step-free access to all areas, accessible toilets, and hearing loops.

Transport & Parking

Westminster Station is on the other side of Parliament Square and is fully step-free. Several bus routes serve nearby Whitehall and Parliament Square.

Access

Full access to all areas, and every court has a hearing loop. Some of the lifts have the most magnificent doors I have ever seen on a lift, which is a nice bonus.

Toilets

There are many accessible toilets, both the ones I used were spacious, well-designed, well laid-out, and 100% fit for purpose.

Staff

All staff I encountered were keen to be helpful. Someone should tell them that it's OK to smile occasionally - they were needlessly severe and humourless, and occasionally a tiny bit officious.
