Self catering ,accessible holiday cottage with a wet room.1 double bedroom (+ a sofa bed in the lounge) Internal connecting door to adjacent cottage which sleeps 6 .Property can be booked as one large house that sleeps 8 Set in the beautiful Hereford countryside ,with local accessible pubs and attractions.

Delightful wheelchair-friendly self-catering country cottage

The Tack Room is a delightful self-catering bungalow near Little Cowarne in the lovely Herefordshire countryside. These 17th century buildings have been very tastefully renovated. We booked this unit from South Africa, and couldn't have wished for better. It is wheelchair-friendly and spacious, has a large wet-room, and is reasonably priced. There is WiFi, but mobile signal is weak. The adjacent Little Cowarne Court has a secluded quintessential English Country Garden, a delight in springtime. The owners are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Due to the Covid lockdown, we were unable to enjoy the many local attractions.

Lovely Stay at the Tack Room

A lovely three day visit to Herefordshire staying in this comfy cosy cottage near Bromyard. Would certainly recommend for any wheelchair using visitor. Clean, spacious, the beds so comfortable and bathroom facilities more than adequate. You will not be disappointed. Also a gem of a pub nearby suitable for wheelchairs, The Three Horseshoes, great hosts, beer, gardens and food. What a hidden treasure Little Cowarne is if its tranquility , beautiful countryside and a peaceful location you're after.

Disabled Access at The Tack Room

Parking and access is level and doors are wide. We have a wet room and can provide a shower chair. The bed is a zip and link bed that can accommodate a hoist ( which can be hired,and delivered locally) There is a patio on hard standing . We have had many guests stay in various size of wheelchairs ,some on their own and many with family and all have found the Tack Room more than able to accommodate them. Any reassurance or confirmation of details do ring me
