Overview
My first visit to this small but fantastic theatre in a beautiful period building at the top of Winchester on Jewry Street. The theatre is located amongst multiple restaurants and a short distance from the city train station, it also has a bus top outside.
Transport & Parking
The theatre is located amongst multiple restaurants and a short distance from the city train station, I pushable distance for someone in an active wheelchair, it also has a bus top outside. I parked 50m away in the Library pay & display carpark which had about 4 bluebadge disabled parking bays as the library was closed for the day.
Access
Slight slope to the automatic door and wheelchair entrance
Toilets
At least 2 disabled wc that I saw and used one
Staff
From the point of booking accessible tickets with discounted companion tickets the staff were amazing. We were welcomed on entering the foyer and taken care of from start to finish. The wheelchair seating position at K1 in the stalls was on a slight decline so a platform was put in to keep me level.
