Disabled Access at The Box @ FarGo Village

The Box is a fully accessible venue, with all public areas on one level. Accessible toilets are available through the main entrance via the foyer. The stage, changing rooms, and showers can be accessed via a platform lift, ensuring full access for performers and participants. A hearing loop system is installed to support visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing. Best access to the venue is via Grafton Street or Far Gosford Street. Please note that the side entrance has four steps. Limited Blue Badge parking is available in the Far Gosford Street car park and near the Grafton Street entrance. Limited Blue Badge car parking is available in the car park located on Far Gosford St. We have a drop off point directly outside the venue, with a walk of approx 10 meters to the entrance door.

A Changing Places facility is available in the neighbouring Art Riot Collective. . Male, female, and all-gender toilets are available in The Box. Accessible Toilets located in the Box foyer and Market Hall Operated with a RADAR key (ask staff if you need one). 1m lateral transfer space, lever taps, inward-opening door, grab rails, and emergency alarm. Good contrast between wall and floor surfaces. Includes baby changing facilities.

Changing Places toilet

There is a Changing Places toilet, which includes an adult-size changing bench, toilet, sink and hoist.
