Booked a table for an evening meal due to an overnight stay nearby. We were made to feel welcome from the off by the host (sorry, I don't remember your name) who was ready to offer us a selection of tables depending on whether I wanted to transfer onto a chair, or remain in my wheelchair which shows a level of disability awareness I don't often come across. We were served by Liya. Incidentally, a great idea to leave a paper slip with your bill which tells you who your server and chefs were so that praise can be directed to the right person. She was cheery, friendly and efficient so I'm happy to do so. All the food we had, cooked by Claire and Lief, was delicious. The beef shin fell off the bone, the haddock was fresh and perfectly cooked and my Hunter's chicken schnitzel was lovely, the barbecue sauce perfect and didn't overpower the dish like some can. I'd never eaten there and Mum and Dad hadn't been since it was The Coach House, but we will definitely be returning.

Accessibility is great. The bar is on the level and easily negotiated, with plenty room between tables. Outside, there is a path through the garden which is composed of flagstones but I found no problem self-propelling along it.

I travelled to this place by walk or wheel
We actually walked/wheeled there from our nearby hotel but there is a car park with disabled spaces nearest the door.

Accessible Toilets
Excellent
There is an accessible toilet situated in the bar area. I had no trouble at all accessing it independently in my wheelchair. Inside, it has the standard set-up of grab rails and is roomy enough to manoeuvre inside without a problem. It was clean and tidy with no extraneous clutter. The red cord was free and hanging to the floor.

Staff
Excellent
As well as those mentioned, all staff were cheerful and helpful. I was particularly impressed with the disability awareness of the staff which suggests a decent level of training in the matter which should be applauded if that is the case.
