Today I visited Thrigby wildlife park for the first time in 10 years. Was pleasantly surprised too see concrete paths, treetop walkways which are wheelchair Accessible, changing places toilet and spacious gift shop. Great viewing areas with clear, spacious viewing areas on the side of enclosure, so everybody can view otters, porcupine,meerkats and macaques. Only downfall is the cafe, food isn't great and cafe was extremely cold, but again enough room. Overall, everywhere is accessible, if in a manual chair will require strong arms or somebody to assist. The only path I was bit weary of, was one into and out of aviaries and gift shop, is quite steep and uneven. A powerchair can cope well round all of it (but I personally didn't go all the way round treetop walks, as path is quite narrow, but is doable). For a small wildlife park, they have really thought about accessibility and offer concessions for disabled/carer.

Good
Some paths could do with maintenance work, but my powerchair coped well round everything and I saw somebody using a manual chair, didn't appear to struggle, it's uphill towards monkeys and leopards, but paths are concrete. Walkways to tiger are very accessible. Swamp house has walkways all the way round, could be difficult if very busy. Gift shop is spacious and Accessable.

Blue badge parking along the front near entrance, had no problems parking.

Changing places toilet next to cafe, accessed with radar key.

Staff were helpful and happy.
