Overview

The perimeter of the power station land forms part of the coastal walkway. It's a bit futuristic and weird but there is lots of wildlife, open space and amazing coastal views. There's a huge concrete walkway on two levels that is very strange just because of what it is, a couple of fenced pier areas, a huge runway like area with wildlife planting and a huge kind of abandoned travel car park that's reverting back to nature and all in the shadow of the huge power station. Very silent and thought provoking though. Quite a few dog walkers and fishermen. There is a visitor centre which we didn't use but we spoke to a chap in a wheelchair and he said the facilities were very good for disabled visitors. Well worth a visit!
