Excellent
I have been intending to visit this museum since it opened. I finally made it and was not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed by enthusiastic volunteers and soon paid up, the concession rate and my wife admitted as my carer. The layout of the museum was very well explained to us and advised that I would be best sitting my wheelchair at the doorway to watch the videos. This I did and it worked fine as the museum was quiet. The displays (In cabinets) were clearly laid out and easy to look at from a wheelchair. I really enjoyed our visit to this museum. A visit made very welcoming by those volunteering that day.

The museum had flat entry from the street. I found inside spacious and the displays very clear to view According to the website, portable seating is available to anyone requiring them

There is limited parking outside the museum but we had parked in the town's main car park
Accessible Toilets
Good
Although I did not use the toilets, this is the information is on the website - There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor, located to through a door in Reception. There is an additional accessible toilet available up 4 steps, which has a seat lift, if required. Please ask at reception if you would like any help in operating the lift.
