Trivia Trails runs fun and sociable 60' and 90' quiz trails round Stratford-upon-Avon's lovely town centre looking for the answers to a mix of historical and observational questions. Enjoy a scenic tour past historic buildings, garden footpaths and quaint lanes getting your bearings and a good understanding of how this old market town and its theatres evolved over the centuries influenced by William Shakespeare, with a little light-hearted competitiveness thrown in. Learning and exploring in a fun way! Meet your Trivia Trail host at the Mercure Shakespeare Hotel for a short introduction before setting off with your team with quiz sheet, directions, clipboard and pen returning 60' or 90' later for scoring and prizes. Trails are run all year round, seven days a week and perfect for families, friends, town visitors, hen parties and team-building. There are scheduled trails listed on the website or book a date and time to suit your event or visit. Pushchair friendly and for children aged under 9, the 60' trail is more suitable. A Warwick trail is also available and being assessed shortly for wheelchair users. Adults: £10.00; Child aged 9-16: £3.00; Child aged 0-8: Free; Carers: Free

Disabled Access at Trivia Trails

There is a small step just over an inch high in the doorway of the front entrance of the Mercure Shakespeare Hotel. Some wheelchair users can manage this, otherwise there are automatic sliding doors and step-free entry into the reception area from the rear via the car park accessed first right down Sheep Street.

Accessible parking at Trivia Trails

There are two disabled car parking spaces in the hotel's car park - best to pre-book to guarantee a space. They are located just outside the rear entrance doors. There are also two disabled spaces on Chapel Street outside the hotel's main entrance and three spaces at the top of Sheep Street on the left opposite the hotel's entrance into their car park. It is step free into Quill's lounge where we usually meet, although watch for the slight dip of the floor at the entrance. It is also step-free into one side of Marco's their Italian restaurant, otherwise they have a ramp to go up the one step round to the far side.

Toilets features at Trivia Trails

There is a disabled toilet just inside the rear entrance of the Mercure Shakespeare hotel with enough space for manual or electric wheelchair. There is also an accessible sink and the door is easy to close. There are also two public disabled toilets highlighted on the quiz trail sheet. One of them only has access with the use of a radar key.
