Overall Rating
Good
Visited Tynecastle to attend our friends 40th wedding anniversary celebrations so not a football match. The venue was very suitable for an electric wheelchair user.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
There was then a lift quite near to the front door that took us to the first floor to the function room. The floors were all even & obstacle free. There were double doors into the function room but staff were on hand to open these.
Parking & Transport
Good
Disabled parking was available on the street directly outside the main building on McLeod Street. The pavements are in good condition & lead straight to the main entrance to the stadium building.
Accessible Toilets
Good
There was an accessible toilet just outside the function room which needed a RADAR key. The staff couldn’t find their one but thankfully I had my own one with me. It would be a good idea to always have your key with you & if you don’t have one order it now -you can get one from your local authority or they are available to buy online.
Staff
Good
Staff were all very friendly & helpful.
