Excellent
Took my stepdad and his mate here - they are visiting from Australia and are Harley Davidson riders and wanted to check it out. If you like Harleys this is a great place to by or peruse. Everything a hogs fanatic could want - tonnes of bikes, clothing and accessories, cafe (paninis, toasties and wraps and good coffee). And accessibility is spot on.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
Ground floor entrance is automatic doors. All very flat. Straight into the bike displays. A lot of room to maneuvere about. Lifts to second floor where cafe and clothing is. Spiral stairs with rails leading upstairs. 11 steps - flat bit - then a further 11 steps. Lots of seating options at varying heights upstairs. Also an outdoors area for cafe when it isn't raining. All very flat and well laid out.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
We had to drive - it is in an industrial estate so not well serviced by public transport. Two disabled parking bays out front but there is plenty of space out front and parking if they are taken.
Accessible Toilets
Excellent
An accessible loo on ground floor and another on first floor. Very clean. Doubles with baby change drop tables. Low level sink, mirror and hand dryer. Delighted to see their own signs telling people to leave red emergency cords hanging to the ground!
Staff
Excellent
The staff made eye contact and said hello straight away. Cafe lady could read my mind and asked if I needed a coffee (yes! And it is nice). They were happy for me to hang another red cord card - although their own cards are fab.
