I walked my husband very slowly in his manual wheelchair down one of the paved paths from Princes St, and decided that was a last resort to get back out. Looking at Google maps wasn't very helpful for finding an accessible way out. Came to Euans Guide and it mentioned Kings Stable Road, and we were able to figure it out. So in or out we would recommend heading west on Princes St to Lothian Road. That's where you can fairly easily get into the park. Be advised though that they do lock the area around the band stand so you do have to go up and around that center area of the park if you want to explore the whole thing.
