Overview

PART TWO REVIEW takes you to the gardens and various other rooms. You will find the landscaping a delight, a good overall variety of trees and shrubs, well maintained by gardeners and a credit to Weston Hall. The creepers have done so well surrounding the house, and Westeria just starting to open up, the lawns are well maintained, and it all adds to the delightful hotel. (Photos 1 to 5) The wedding marquee looked a delight, large tent with good facilities and room for quite a large wedding party. (Photos 6 to 8). They offer free parking, and pets are accepted with a small charge, but can only use the bar area, and your bedroom. Back indoors, it’s time to look at the Leyland restaurant, and although not grand it is a delightful place to enjoy a hearty English dinner (photos 9 to 13) but It does have an old period setting. The Middlemarch Bar opened in the evenings, is a traditional wood panelled room with period fixtures, an old original fireplace, where you can sit and relax. But it is also a functions room you can use for private parties (14 15) The it’s back along corridors to go outside again and collect your car for the homeward journey (photos 16 to 18).

Transport & Parking

Park up in main car park area, then For visiting the gardens, you can ask carer to push you round to the side of the Hall, where you will be delighted with the landscaping, with beautiful old trees and colourful shrubs.

Access

Sadly, after viewing gardens, you need to go back indoors to the reception, which means getting up that high step again with no ramp to help you. After that it’s all on the level and you can move around quite freely.
