This train station is located to the rear of the shops in Easton Place it is well back from the road there is a car park in front of the gate in to the station however this is used by people going to the shops as well as the train services. It is a basic station with 2 platforms there is good signage to indicate which platform you need for each service Platform 1 is the one for the service in to Glasgow and is the main one for the station
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
There are steps from the car park area to the gate however there is a Ramp to the left of the gate and a good over bridge which is ramped and is in 3 sections that allow a steady up or down for a wheelchair. There is not much shelter at the station if it is wet with only 1 shelter on each platform a wheelchair will fit in these and there is bench type seating fixed to the back wall of the shelter
Parking & Transport
Average
There is a car park located in front of the station for about 50+ however this is used by people using the train service as well as the local shops etc. The nearest bus stops are out on the main road this is about 7 to 10mins walk away. There is a local Taxi/minicab office at the station as well
